Do you know what is the difference between LoA vs. LoA-A? We've got the answer for you.
What is LoA?
LoA, or Letter of Authorization, is an assignment document. It is issued when the subnet is placed in the IPXO Marketplace. The document gives IPXO the authority to issue LoAs on behalf of the IP resources' owner.
This makes the reallocation process easier and faster. The LoA-A document is added along with the LoA document (issued by IPXO LLC) to ensure that the client who reallocates IPs can give their ISP both documents (LoA and LoA-A) to prove validity.
Difference between LoA and LoA-A
Although it might be confusing, the main difference between these documents is that LoA is issued by IPXO LCC to the ISP (as proof for announcement validation) and LoA-A is issued by the owner to the IPXO LCC and whenever LoA is sent to the ISP. In short, LoA-A can be added to provide further validity.
